 Rene’s journey as a healer was largely inspired in 1980 when his mother Pina suffered a terrible heart attack. The following year, Pina’s physical pain led her to fall into a severe depression, leading to the abuse of antidepressants.

It was at this time that Rene found his purpose; to transform the lives of those who experience the effects of depression and anxiety. At a young 8 years old, Rene discovered the gift that the Cosmos had given him.  Rene’s gift of healing began in a brief moment in front of his mother Pina who was his life force. His mother’s sadness inspired Rene to create healing techniques by making his mother smile, shout, cry and express herself.

Rene’s ability to connect with the soul, mind and spirit began to develop at 8 years of age. It is one of the fundamental tools that he used to heal his mother with his aunt Lola at his side. Lola was a potent healer in the community and influenced Rene with many tools, stories and gifts from the ancestors.

Lola taught Rene the ways of traditional Latin American healing, Curanderismo. She motivated him to develop his natural talent by introducing him to great holistic teachers, spiritual guides, shamans, healers, gurus and doctors that helped him to develop his life’s gift.

Rene’s work with herbal and natural medicine modalities spans 30 years.

Above and beyond his formal training, Rene has practiced in the field with healing masters from a myriad of traditions all over the world.

Rene shares his passion for creating novel treatments to transform and evolve human health and consciousness through the proliferation of herbal & plant medicine. He aims to bring awareness to new forms of medicine that can improve the lives of people suffering from challenging disease states.
